Days 8-9 - Spicers Peak Lodge
Spicers Peak Lodge is the perfect place to relax and de-stress but it’s also a great place to re-energise and reconnect with nature. There are plenty of complimentary on property activities as well as guided activities and Spa Anise. Some of the guided activities (additional cost):

  • 4WD Ridgetop Discovery Tour approx 2hrs
    Explore high country 4WD tracks as your guide interprets the surrounding environment, wildlife and history. Discover a stunning look out at the end of the ridge and enjoy complimentary refreshments as you take in the view. Available for morning, midday and sunset journeys.
  • 4WD Spicers Gap Tour approx 4hrs
    This is a journey by 4WD across the property to link up with Old Spicers Gap Rd via our own private 4WD tracks. Take a short walk to Governors Chair Lookout through World Heritage Listed Main Range National Park and lean more of the Gap stories and Alan Cunningham. Along the way enjoy refreshments in some less frequented scenic locations.
  • Spicers Peak Guided Hike approx 5hrs
    Take our private trails across a mountain saddle through the eucalypt forest of Cedar Mountain to the lush rainforest of Spicers Peak Mountain in Main Range National Park.
  • Bellbird Clearing Guided Hike approx 3hrs
    Follow the creek line to Bellbird Clearing and sight an array of beautiful birdlife on the way, maybe catch a glimpse of the threatened Glossy Black Cockatoo.
  • Ryan’s Ridge Guided Hike approx 3hrs
    Hike along a mountain spine to incredible views of the western valley at Ryan’s Lookout, known locally as ‘the seven peaks of hell’.
  • Downhill Guided Mountain Bike Tour approx 1hr
    Enjoy a thrilling Guided Mountain Bike Ride through eucalypt forest and home to the elusive resident brumbies. Then relax at each creek crossing with the sound of bellbirds echoing through the trees.

Day 10 - Depart Brisbane
