Day 1 - Depart US

Sydney
On arrival in Sydney shuttle service transfer to the
InterContinental Hotel Sydney for your four nights stay.

Day 4 -
Sydney - Half Day City Sights tour
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel for your small
group Sydney Sights tour. First stop is Observatory Hill which has
a beautiful view of the Harbour and Harbour Bridge from the Gazebo
Platform. Learn about the arrival of the first fleet and convicts
and see the historic Rocks area. Drive through the city to view
iconic buildings on the way to Mrs. Macquarie's Chair with views of
the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Head to famous Bondi Beach for
the opportunity to walk from Icebergs Restaurant South Bondi around
the Esplanade to North Bondi. Then head to Watsons Bay for views of
the city and shimmering water, and South Head. Travel back into the
city and cross over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to North Head to view
Balmoral Beach and enjoy a leisurely walk. Visit a secret location
in Middle Head with amazing panoramic views of all the Sydney
region from North Head to the South including the City. Tour
concludes at Taronga Zoo Ferry Wharf with an option of taking the
ferry back to Circular Quay or enjoying the rest of the day at
Taronga Zoo (entry at own expense). Or re-join your vehicle for
transfer back to the city with drop off at Circular Quay or Darling
Harbour.
Day 5 -
Sydney - Explore Sydney Harbour
This morning, enjoy the company of a small group aboard a 52-foot
motor yacht. Your captain and host will share the rich history of
Sydney Harbour and its foreshore as you take in the sights of the
Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Sydney Opera House and the bays and
coves of Sydney Harbour. Enjoy a light morning tea with coffee,
tea, juice and water.
This afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House. The Sydney Opera House is one of the world's most recognizable landmarks and this is your chance to truly get up-close. Run your hands over the world-famous shell tiles, take a seat in the elegant custom-made white birch timber chairs and marvel at the vaulted ceilings. Visit areas off-limits to the public and capture photographs from rare vantage points. Explore theatres and foyers where more than 1600 concerts, operas, dramas and ballets take place each year.
Day 6 -
Sydney – World Heritage Listed Blue
Mountains
Enjoy a full day tour to the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains.
This boutique tour provides an intimate touch, travelling in the
luxury of a Mercedes Benz minivan. Explore the Blue Mountains and
see hidden locations and beautiful views of the region. From Echo
Point, the closest and best view of the Three Sisters, you will be
able to witness the blue haze and the vast expanse of the Jamison
Valley and experience for yourself the raw magic the Blue Mountains
creates. Take a 1.5-hour hike down the Furber Steps walking track
which offers scenic views and waterfalls, to the bottom of the
valley. Visit a beautiful waterfall with great photo opportunities
at Katoomba Falls Cascade and see breathtaking views of either
Jamison Valley or Megalong Valley away from the crowds in a private
location. Enjoy a hot filling lunch including a glass of beer, wine
or soft drink. After lunch visit Featherdale Wildlife Park to see
some of Australia's native wildlife. Your trip to Sydney is not
complete without a cruise on the Parramatta River to Sydney
Harbour. You will travel under the Harbour Bridge and past the
Opera House before disembarking at Circular Quay, where your tour
will conclude.
Day 7
– Sydney to Hamilton Island
On arrival into Hamilton Island you will be met and transferred to
the Beach Club for your three nights stay. Surrounded by landscaped
gardens on Catseye Beach, the Beach Club Hamilton Island is a
boutique retreat exclusively for adults. Romantic, intimate and
perfect for couples, the luxuriously appointed rooms have a stylish
and relaxed beach house vibe, tailor-made for relaxing. All rooms
at the Beach Club Hotel have a private courtyard or balcony looking
onto palm-fringed Catseye Beach and the Coral Sea.
ACCOMMODATION - The Beach Club Resort has a private infinity-edge swimming pool overlooking Catseye Beach and private beach area in front of the hotel. Enjoy la carte breakfast and dinner served poolside at the exclusive Beach Club Restaurant. Guests have exclusive use of the Beach Clubs lounge and bar, and the in-house library is stocked with books, magazines and CDs. The Beach Club has room service and 24-hour reception, and a VIP chauffeured buggy service transports guests around Hamilton Island.
Day 8 -
At leisure to explore Hamilton Island
Most of the car-free island is covered in bushland, and the coast
is fringed by coral reefs. Tours offer up-close sightings of
koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and kookaburras. Trails lead up to
Passage Peak in the east, with views of the surrounding islands.
Throughout your stay at Beach Club you have use of catamarans,
windsurfers, kayaks, stand up paddleboards and snorkeling equipment
as well as access to the gym, spa, sauna & tennis courts.
Day 9
– Sailing the Whitsundays
The Whitsundays consist of 74 islands located in the middle of the
World Heritage Listed Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. These islands
are pristine, with 66 in their natural state. Your 2 Day Adventure
Sailing offers the opportunity to fully experience the Whitsundays
in a small group. This tour will visit Whitehaven Beach, along with
snorkeling excursions on the fringing coral reefs.
Prima was purpose built to operate charters in the Whitsundays and she is perfect for individuals, couples or Private Charter groups. With a maximum of 12 passengers and 2 crew Prima will provide a comfortable home for your Whitsunday experience. Prima has 2 private double cabins with private ensuites, and 2 doubles with share bathroom. A major refit in 2012 included air conditioning to the main cabin area.
Transfer from Hamilton Island by boat to the Port of Airlie & board Prima. Depart the marina at 1pm and sail to 1st anchorage for a swim and a snorkel on the fringing coral reefs. Enjoy sunset nibbles and a drink before dinner is served around 7:00pm
Day 10
– Sailing the Whitsundays
After Breakfast, head to Tongue Bay for a guided bush walk to the
Hill Inlet Lookout. A spectacular lookout overlooking Whitehaven
Beach. Back on board enjoy morning tea before heading north along
the eastern side of Hook Island. Time for a snorkel or swim this
afternoon. Overnight anchor in one of the many bays on Hook
Island.
Day 11
- Depart Hamilton Island to US
After Breakfast, enjoy a swim or snorkel. Then set sails and make
way back to Airlie Beach, arriving at 10:30am. A sailing adventure
on Prima is an ideal way to enjoy the Whitsunday Islands. Board
your boat transfer to Hamilton Island and check in for your flight
back to the US with Qantas via Brisbane to Los Angeles (arriving
the same day, addon flights available to local airports)
