Located on the sunny West coast of Tahiti, the resort has its own private sand beach and lagoon. Polynesian dance shows and live music perform every night in the restaurant opening out on water's edge. The resort is just over a mile (2 km) from the airport, (important when you arrive late after a long flight) and the capital and port city, Papeete, are about six miles (10 km) down the road.

Day 7 - Papette, Tahiti - Moorea
You will be collected from the Intercontinental Tahiti Resort and transferred to the Papeete airport for you short flight to Moorea. On arrival you will be transferred to the Intercontinental Moorea Resort & Spa.

Accommodtion - This south sea splendor and authentic experience is nestled between mountains and a lagoon on a stunning French Polynesian island. Right on the resort grounds is Moorea’s widest range of activities, which includes the Moorea Dolphin Center, Bathys Diving Club, tennis, kayaking, canoeing, skiing and Jeep tours. The Arahurahu Marae temple is also worth a visit.

Days 8 - 10 - Moorea

Activities:

Moorea Dolphin Center
The facility was created for three bottlenose dolphins: two males – Lokahi and Kuokoa – and one female, Hina, a San Diego US Navy retiree. A team of veterinarians and animal behaviourists look after our stars, who help educate visitors and increase awareness about local ecology and environmental responsibility. For more than 20 years we have been offering high-quality educational and interactive programmes, giving guests the opportunity to share an unforgettable experience while learning about marine mammals and their ecosystem

Turtle Care Center
The rehabilitation centre was established in February 2004 by the Te Mana o Te Moana association, in partnership with the Ministry of the Environment in an effort to protect the sea turtles of French Polynesia. Even though all sea turtles are protected globally, they remain at risk of extinction. The turtles brought to us were found sick, injured or maimed or were seized by customs – we do our best to rehabilitate them, at which point they are released into the sea. The three sea turtle species found in the waters surrounding our resort are the green turtle, hawksbill turtle and leatherback turtle.

Water Sports
A wide array of fun sea-based activities, from kayaking to deep-sea fishing. Board sports lovers might like to try stand-up paddle boarding, windsurfing or kitesurfing. There’s also water skiing and jet skiing – and for something more traditional, our outrigger canoes (va'a). To go beyond the lagoon, you can opt for a boat excursion or rent a speed boat or a glass-bottomed boat. There are excursions to see wild dolphins, feed stingrays or picnic on a motu. You can take off on your own adventure or go diving with the TOPDIVE team, which has a centre within the resort. For something different, try walking under the sea with Aquablue's helmet dive, a unique way to discover the lagoon and an exclusive activity in all French Polynesia!

Spa
Peace, harmony and pampering – Hélène Spa offers you the ultimate in indulgent therapies. Nestled in our tropical gardens, our spa enjoys a calming natural ambience that permeates throughout all treatment rooms, stilling the mind and nourishing the spirit. Created in 1999, Hélène Spa was voted one of the most beautiful spas in the world.
