Day 4 - Arcades & Laneways Perth city walking tour
Join your Two Feet and A Heartbeat Walking Tours at Perth Town Hall, on corner of Barrak and Hay street to commence a 2 Hour Arcades and Laneways Tour. On this tour explore the more than 2.5km of arcades and various lesser known laneways throughout the city. Due to Perth's warm climate, the city centre was built with many arcades to keep shoppers shaded and cool. Through churches, shopping malls and public areas, these arcades and laneways provide interesting routes for locals to navigate through the city centre. Art Deco, ultra modern and even faux-Tudor, these are wonderful parts of the city that you will visit on this tour and learn of their origins and impact on the city. In recent years, some forgotten and under utilized laneways in Perth have been given a new lease on life. Through Government investment, the establishment of small bars and cafes, pop-up cultural events and a proliferation of street art, these once ignored places are now hip and happening. It is very easy to spend a couple of leisurely hours exploring these hidden yet bustling/vibrant elements of life in Perth. With plenty of opportunities to grab a coffee on the go, have a tasty treat, or find some awesome places to come back to after the tour, your friendly guide will help set you up for an enjoyable adventure through the lesser known parts of Perth. Tour concludes at approximately 4:00pm, in the central city area of Perth.

Day 5 - Rottnest Island Experience
You will board your vessel in Northport to commence a full day Discover Rottnest tour. Cruise to Rottnest Island and receive a guided introduction walk, then enjoy cycling around the island at your own pace or a coach tour to discover the beauty and tranquility of Rottnest. Rottnest Island is lined with 83 of the most beautiful bays and beaches you will ever see, but what it’s really known for is being home to the happiest animal in the world. Quokkas are small marsupials, much like a very tiny kangaroo. Thousands of quokkas call Rottnest their island home and pose for the perfect picture. You’ll also spot dolphins and seals year round, plus humpback whales from September to December.

Enjoy lunch at Rottnest Lodge, followed by free time at your leisure before boarding the ferry to depart the island and cruise back to Northport.

Your time at Sal Salis includes: All meals, alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages from a select bar, Use of all snorkel gear & wet suits, Guided wilderness activities, guided snorkel tours, kayaking snorkel tours, guided walks in Cape Range National Park & Swim with the Whale Sharks experience

Day 7 - Sal Salis, swim with whale sharks
Each year between April and July these slow-moving, gentle, filter-feeding giants migrate past Ningaloo Reef. The world’s biggest fish can grow to lengths of 12 metres or more and has a healthy appetite in order to sustain its immense size. Fortunately for most sea-dwellers (and for us) they feed primarily on plankton and krill, taking in huge gulps of water and filtering out their microscopic meal.

Sal Salis offers whale shark swims with select local partners and you can expect an up-close-and-personal view of these gentle giants. Your whale shark experience begins with our transferring you to Tantabiddi Boat Ramp (about 25 minutes drive) where you will meet your experienced skipper and crew for the day. Morning tea is usually served as you motor out into the Indian Ocean to being the search, this is aided by a spotter aircraft that relays sightings to our skipper. The crew will help you get kitted out in wetsuits and snorkel gear, they will also provide a thorough briefing.

During the course of the day your crew will keep an eye out for turtles, dolphins, dugongs, rays and sea birds and there is usually time for a snorkel at the back of the Reef. A delicious lunch featuring fresh Western Australian produce is provided.

Day 8 - Sal Salis
Today take your pick from the multiple activities on offer at Sal Salis – snorkeling, kayaking or walking tours.

Day 9 - Sal Salis to Cable Beach, Broome
Today you will fly northeast to Broome, where you’ll pick up a rental car and drive to famous Cable Beach. With two nights to spend here, you’ll have plenty of time to see why Cable Beach is known for its sweeping sandy landscape and why the area is known for its small-town Western Australia charm.

ACCOMMODATION - Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is the only resort with access to Cable Beach. The 26-acre property offers a spectacular view of Cable Beach. The location provides an ideal base for travellers who want to explore Kimberley Region. A short hike from the resort can take trekkers to McDaniel's Lookout and Gantheaume Point and you can also learn about the multicultural town by visiting Broome Historical Society Museum.

Day 10 - Cable Beach Club Resort
Daytime is at your leisure to enjoy Cable Beach and Broome today, but this evening will be quite the strange encounter as you mount a camel and ride Cable Beach as the sun goes down, waves lapping at your camel’s feet. A gentle rock back and forth makes for a comfortable ride on the back of one of the world’s most bizarre creatures.

Depart Broome by flight to Kununurra, on arrival transfer by vehicle to El Questro homestead

ACCOMMODATION - The Homestead at El Questro is an exclusive retreat situated atop the Chamberlain Gorge. El Questro provides the highest standards of service and cuisine, while maintaining true outback experiences for all who visit. El Questro Homestead is open from early April to late October

Days 12 - 13 - El Questro Homestead
At your leisure to experience the homestead. Walks offer a different style of gorge, from shady and tropical to more open and valley like. What all of the walks and gorges have in common is the reward at the end of the journey; crystal clear water holes for a refreshing swim before the return walk back to the vehicle. Each day a ranger will lead Homestead guests on a different guided walk.  After lunch, you will cruise on the Chamberlain Gorge, which is one of the best introductions to the history and ecology of El Questro. A 3km fresh waterhole bound by dramatic and towering escarpments, it is home to a range of flora and fauna. There are no crowds here as the Gorge can only be accessed by boat.
