New Zealand will welcome fully vaccinated US travelers with an approved vaccine from May 2022.
Note: As of 12:01 AM ET on June 12, 2022, CDC will no longer require air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.

Visitors to New Zealand require an Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) to travel to New Zealand & pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy. The NZeTA does not replace the Visa Waiver Program, and a visa will still be granted upon arrival in New Zealand; please ensure you have at least six months validity on your passport at the time of travel. - US passport holders can apply for an NZeTA using the NZeTA app. For full details click here
