Day 1 - Depart US
Flights on award winning Virgin Australia airlines to Brisbane or Sydney, on to Cairns, down to Sydney then back home again. Our price includes options in Economy, Premium Economy and Business class – you choose!

Day 2 - Cross International Dateline

Day 3 -  Arrive Sydney
Seat in coach transfer from from Sydney airport to accommodation.

Stay 4 nights in the Heart of Sydney This award-winning 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of Sydney features stylish accommodations, along with 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a day spa, swimming pool, fitness center and business center. Day 4 - Sydney - Half Day City Sights tour
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel for your small group Panoramic Sydney Sights tour. Commence a morning Panoramic Sydney Sights tour. Visit the historic Rocks area (Old Town of Sydney) and hear of the early convict history. Enjoy magnificent views of the Opera House, see Sydney Harbour Bridge and the shopping heart of the city including the Queen Victoria Building and Sydney Tower. Visit Sydney's trendy district, Oxford Street and elegant Paddington with its terrace houses. Arrive at the famous beaches - see Tamarama, Bronte and stop at the Bondi beachfront to stroll and enjoy a morning coffee or tea (at own expense). See surfers, famous Aussie lifesavers and Sydney's most spectacular panoramic viewpoint. Return to Sydney via Sydney Heads lookout, Watsons Bay, Kings Cross & Mrs Macquaries Point for unsurpassed views of the Harbour Bridge & Opera House.


Day 5 - Explore Sydney Harbour & Opera House
This morning board your Captain Cook Cruises vessel at Pier 26 Darling Harbour to commence a Hop On Hop Off cruise. Travel aboard a 25 metre motorised Rocket Ferry vessel and enjoy a fun and easy way to explore Sydney including commentary from your Captain. Sit back and relax as your vessel cruises around Sydney Harbour and stops at harbourside attractions including Darling Harbour, Taronga Zoo, Watsons Bay, Luna Park and Circular Quay, where you are able to hop on and off over a 24 hour period. Alternatively stay on board the vessel for an enjoyable 90 minute round trip journey

This afternoon experience a delicious tour and tasting plate package that combines The Sydney Opera House Tour with world-class delicious alfresco dining at Opera Kitchen. Begin your journey by exploring underneath the sails with a spectacular Sydney Opera House Tour taking you inside one of the world’s greatest buildings of all time. You will see inside the theatres, discover the stories, history and magic of the House and learn of how architect Jorn Utzon’s heritage-listed masterpiece came to life. You can also decide when to take your Opera Kitchen three-tier gourmet Tasting Plate or Bento Tower, before or after your tour as lunch or return for dinner at dusk or a late supper. There’s nothing more to do than sit back at Sydney’s newest dining spot and indulge in our famous oysters, mini wagyu burgers, or fresh sushi and sashimi on the Bento Tower and soak in the Sydney Harbour views. Opera Kitchen is home to Sydney’s best chefs, food artisans and producers that will tantalise your tastebuds and leave you spoilt for choice.


Day 6 - Blue Mountains small group day tour including lunch
A Diamond Tours vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a full day Blue Mountains tour. Before heading west, enjoy some of the sites of the Sydney Central Business District. Once out of Sydney we’ll visit Canada Bay area before arriving in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy morning tea at the Conservation Hut at Wentworth Falls. Arrive at Scenic World and join the Blue Mountains rides - Scenic Railway, Cableway and Skyway (own expense). Experience the Scenic Skyway and the thrill of walking on air with a see-through glass floor showing views of the valley 200 metres below. Or dare yourself to ride the steepest railway, with an incline of 52 degrees. After enjoying a stroll through the ancient rainforest, ride the Scenic Cableway and see spectacular views of the Three Sisters and vast expanse of the Jamison Valley, then visit Echo Point for the closest and best view of the Three Sisters. Travel through the quaint village of Leura on the way to Sublime Point for picturesque views of the Jamison Valley. Enjoy lunch then return to Sydney via Featherdale Wildlife Park where you can encounter Australian native animals. Cuddle up to a Koala or feed the baby Wallabies. Last stop is Cabarita (Inner West) to board the Rivercat ferry for a relaxing cruise to Circular Quay, and view the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Tour concludes at approximately 5.15pm at Circular Quay.

Day 7 - Depart Sydney
This morning you will be collected for your shuttle transfer to Sydney airport. Depart Sydney on your Virgin Australia flight back to Cairns. On arrival in Cairns, seat in coach transfer to Port Douglas

Day 8 - Great Barrier Reef Day Tour
A Quicksilver coach will pick you up from your hotel for your transfer to Marina Mirage Port Douglas, the departure point of your cruise. At 9.30am board Wavedancer, a 30 metre luxury sailing catamaran to commence a full day cruise to the Low Isles. Journey to this idyllic coral island set in a lagoon on the Great Barrier Reef. You have the opportunity to swim, snorkel, drift through the corals or take a glass bottom boat tour. Lunch is served on board. Join a marine biologist for a guided walk around the island or a guided snorkel tour. Cruise concludes at approximately 4.30pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.


Day 9 - Mossman Gorge & Aboriginal Dreamtime Walk
Travel north along the scenic coastal road to arrive at Mossman Gorge Centre and enjoy an Indigenous presentation by the traditional owners of the gorge, the Kuku Yalanji people before boarding the eco shuttle for the transfer into Mossman Gorge. Your guide will take you on a walk sharing their knowledge of this enchanting rainforest environment. Learn about the fascinating secrets of one of the world's oldest rainforests. Upon conclusion of the cruise, commence the return journey to Port Douglas


Day 10 - Port Douglas

Day 11 - Cairns - Melbourne
This morning you will be transferred by seat in coach shuttle to Cairns airport. Fly Cairns to Melbourne. Upon arrival in Melbourne seat in coach transfer to accommodation.

Accommodation - The Blackman, Melbourne
Built within and above the historic Airlie Mansion, this property offers an edgy, boutique interior which features the works of one of Australia's most celebrated artists, Charles Blackman. In 1953 Blackman was co founder of the Melbourne Contemporary Art Society and he was also one of seven artists responsible for the Antipodean Manifesto; these artists protested the dominance and rejected the rise of abstract expressionism and non - figurative art. Charles Blackman is regarded as one of the most original and significant figurative painters in Australian art, he lived in London for six years after winning the Helena Rubenstein Scholarship in 1960, and his work was included in the Whitechapel Open Exhibition in 1961 and in the Tate Gallery exhibitions of Australian art in 1962-63. In 1997 Blackman was awarded the OBE for his services to art. He is represented in most states and most regional galleries and in many private collections throughout the world. He is most well known for his Alice in Wonderland series. The hotel also employs an in-house art curator who runs tours of the property for guests, providing insights into Blackman's art.

This evening enjoy a delightful innovative approach to dining in the first travelling Tramcar Restaurants in the world. As the glossy, burgundy trams cruise the scenic streets of Melbourne, diners enjoy a seasonal menu, quality Australian wines or a selection of beverages from a fully stocked bar. Departs 545pm.


Day 12 - Melbourne
Enjoy a 3 hour guided walk through the beautiful lanes and historic shopping arcades to discover local designers, specialty retailers along with a little history and amazing architecture. Your guide will dazzle you with local stories and will reveal a whole new side of Melbourne.


Day 13 - Phillip Island Ultimate Ecotour
Get up close and personal with the friendly residents of Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, where you learn about the conservation of these loveable native animals. The eco certified sanctuary also showcases some lesser known but equally adorable endangered species including the Southern Bettong, Eastern Quolls and rare Fluffy Gliders. Visit historic Churchill Island and see sheep shearing in action, with time to explore the historic buildings. Next, visit the Koala Conservation Centre to see koalas in their natural environment. Take a stroll along the boardwalks at the Nobbies and Seal Rock Centre, before arriving at Summerland beach for the nightly penguin parade. Home to Victoria's largest colony of little penguins, Summerland beach provides a spectacular backdrop to the world famous penguin parade. Watch as hundreds of little penguins make their way across the beach and go home for the night.


Day 14 - Yarra Valley wine experience
Visit 4 Premium Yarra Valley wineries and enjoy an La Carte Restaurant lunch including a delicious main meal, glass of wine and tea or coffee. Also included in your day, a private tour through the award winning Domaine Chandon winery, our experienced guide happy to provide you with an insight into the magic of creating this world class bubbly. Our visit to Domaine Chandon will include a glass of premium sparkling with light tasting nibbles at this magnificent venue. The Yarra Valley renowned for its quality wines, specialty foods and breathtaking scenery is the perfect place to enjoy a day away from the city.


Day 15 - Depart Melbourne
Transfer by seat in coach shuttle from The Blackman to Melbourne International airport for your return flight to the US.
