Day 7 - Sydney to Cairns to Lizard Island
On arrival you will transfer to the Hinterland Aviation terminal and your 1 hour charter flight from Cairns to Lizard Island.

Days 8 - 10 - Lizard Island
Sensational diving opportunities abound around this Marine National Park, including the famous Cod Hole, where you'll come face to face with a massive, yet curious Potato Cod swimming right up to inspect you with child-like curiosity.

Snorkellers are rewarded for little effort with coral gardens, brightly coloured tropical fish and giant clams just moments from the island's beaches. Discover secluded, pristine beaches by foot or by motorised dinghy with a gourmet picnic just for two. Fishing enthusiasts can charter the "Fascination" for a day of exhilarating game fishing. Try bushwalking, sailing, a glass bottom boat trip, or perhaps indulge in the serenity and relaxation of a pampering treatment at the luxurious Azure Spa.

Day 11 - Cairns
The Charter flight back from Lizard Island arrives Cairns early afternoon. On arrival you will be met by your private chauffeur who will assist with your private transfer to the Shangri-La Cairns. Superbly positioned within the cosmopolitan Pier shopping complex, overlooking the Marlin Marina and the Coral Sea; adjacent to Trinity Bay Esplanade the hotel serves as a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Designed with the surrounding tropical elements in mind, materials throughout the hotel are inspired by the rainforest and reef – interior finishes of granite, sea-toned walls, bubble-like light fittings, natural timbers and marine ply provide links to the natural world. Opening up the hotel, an extension of the external boardwalk and construction of a new awning around the entire building has been added. Day 12 - Depart Cairns
