Meeting service and pick up your car at the airport depot and drive to your hotel for the night.

Day 2 - Christchurch to Marlborough Sounds
(Breakfast included)
Travel to Marlborough Sounds today via the beautiful Kaikoura Coast (approximately 360kms). Stop off at Kaikoura for an optional Whale Watch excursion or swim with the dolphins. On arrival in the Marlborough Sounds park your car and take a short ferry ride to your accommodation.

Day 3 - Marlborough Sounds

A day of leisure to explore the Marlborough Sounds area. You may like to take a boat ride or join one of the many bush walks available.

Day 4 - Marlborough Sounds to Nelson

Today depart for Nelson (approximately 75kms). Rest of day at leisure. You may like to visit the Wearable Arts Museum or one of the many art and handcraft centres.

A day of leisure to explore the Nelson region. Take advantage of the many bush walks available or perhaps go kayaking in the Abel Tasman National Park.

Day 6 - Nelson to Hanmer Springs (Breakfast included)
A beautiful drive today will take you via the Nelson Lakes and Springs Junction to Hanmer Springs (approximately 300kms). Take time to stop off along the way at Maruia Springs for a thermal spa. Hanmer Springs has plenty of optional activities including bike rides, thermal pools and bush walks.
Stay: Cheltenham House
Day 7 - Hanmer Springs to Christchurch (Breakfast included)
Return to Christchurch where your tour concludes with returning your rental car to the city or airport depot (approximately 130kms). |
