The ASP tour's best will hit Manly on February 7 to launch the country's biggest ever action sports and youth culture festival, the Australian Open of Surfing. The nine day festival will celebrate the best of Australian action sports, music, art and fashion and incorporate skateboarding and ASP-sanctioned six star events and Junior Pro surfing tournaments. The Australian Open of Surfing festival will combine world-class athletes, artists and fans in a celebration of youth culture, innovation and athleticism at Manly Beach - the birthplace of modern surfing. Combine the festival with exploring Sydney and you have the perfect getaway.

Day 1 - Depart US

Day 2 - Cross International Date Line

Day 3 - Arrive Sydney
Blessed with a temperate climate, Sydney is Australia’s favorite city with the world’s most beautiful harbor. You will be transferred by small vehicle shuttle to the Mercure Potts Point Sydney. You will spend THREE nights at this appointed hotel.

Mercure Sydney Potts Point features spectacular views of Sydney Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House and Sydney’s east. The hotel has a huge outdoor terrace, a restaurant and a bar. All of the rooms were refurbished in 2011 with new furniture and fittings and a modern interior design. Every room features a flat-screen TV with cable channels, air conditioning and a refrigerator. CURSA Restaurant serves a wide variety of dishes for breakfast and dinner, and guests can dine on the open-air terrace. 24-hour room service is also available. The Delta Bar is the perfect place for a relaxing drink. In the heart of the Kings Cross entertainment area, Mercure Potts Point is just one train stop from Martin Place in the center of the city. Bondi Beach is about a 10-minute drive from the property.

Day 4 - Sydney - Half Day City Sights tour & 2 hour surf lesson, Bondi Beach
This morning you will be picked up from your hotel for your small group Panoramic Sydney Sights tour. Commence a morning Panoramic Sydney Sights tour. Visit the historic Rocks area (Old Town of Sydney) and hear of the early convict history. Enjoy magnificent views of the Opera House, see Sydney Harbour Bridge and the shopping heart of the city including the Queen Victoria Building and Sydney Tower. Visit Sydney's trendy district, Oxford Street and elegant Paddington with its terrace houses. Arrive at the famous beaches - see Tamarama, Bronte and stop at the Bondi beachfront to stroll and enjoy a morning coffee or tea (at own expense). See surfers, famous Aussie lifesavers and Sydney's most spectacular panoramic viewpoint. At Bondi Beach you will bid farewell to your tour and check in for your two hour small group surf lesson with Lets Go Surfing.

Can you imagine yourself riding a wave on beautiful Bondi Beach? Enjoy a two-hour beginner surf lesson which will get you safely up and onto your first wave before you’ve had time to worry about falling off. Designed for anyone who wants to give surfing a try, we promise to give you an authentic taste of surfing, useful safety information about waves and the beach, and a smile that you won’t be able to wipe off for hours!

After your surf lesson make your own way back to accommodation.

Day 5 - Sydney - at your leisure or add a tour 
Relax and explore Sydney or speak with an Aspire consultant regarding tour options.

WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND (ADDITIONAL TO PACKAGE COSTING) - A Diamond Tours vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a full day Blue Mountains tour. Before heading west, enjoy some of the sites of the Sydney Central Business District. Once out of Sydney we’ll visit Canada Bay area before arriving in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy morning tea at the Conservation Hut at Wentworth Falls. Arrive at Scenic World and join the Blue Mountains rides - Scenic Railway, Cableway and Skyway (own expense). Experience the Scenic Skyway and the thrill of walking on air with a see-through glass floor showing views of the valley 200 metres below. Or dare yourself to ride the steepest railway, with an incline of 52 degrees. After enjoying a stroll through the ancient rainforest, ride the Scenic Cableway and see spectacular views of the Three Sisters and vast expanse of the Jamison Valley, then visit Echo Point for the closest and best view of the Three Sisters. Travel through the quaint village of Leura on the way to Sublime Point for picturesque views of the Jamison Valley. Enjoy lunch then return to Sydney via Featherdale Wildlife Park where you can encounter Australian native animals. Cuddle up to a Koala or feed the baby Wallabies. Last stop is Cabarita (Inner West) to board the Rivercat ferry for a relaxing cruise to Circular Quay, and view the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Tour concludes at approximately 5.15pm at Circular Quay.

Day 6 - Sydney - Manly Beach
Make your way by taxi or ferry to Manly (own expense). You will spend THREE nights at Q Station Sydney Harbour National Park - Manly.
